I Am Not What Happened To Me, I Am What I Choose To Be.
This is indeed wisdom from Carl Jung which may however involve some hard work.
And I often said to clients: “We live until say the age of 90. But we only lived with our parents for approximately 20 years. That means we have 70 years to heal ourselves and then get on with the ‘living’. Today we have so many opportunities – more certainly than our parents ever had. So no excuses please.
